A pour over is basically three components. The glass carafe, the filter, and the grip. Grosche® improved all three of them. The glass is now thicker than the original Austin. The capacity is also larger at 1 liter or 34 fl. oz.
Grosche® also changed the filter from a single layer stainless steel filter to a double layered permanent filter. This removes more of the grit and gives you a very smooth cup of coffee.
Finally Grosche® changed the grip from a neoprene grip to a hard grip that does not have the issues of being needed to wash and cleaning.
The Austin G6 is easy to use and provides full control over the brewing process. There is no need to buy paper filters as a permanent, stainless steel filter is included. You can try different techniques of coffee grinding, pouring, and blooming to see what you enjoy the most. The Austin G6 slow coffee dripper gives a bold and modern look to your table top.
We highly suggest that people use a goose neck kettle like the GROSCHE Marrakesh when making pour over coffee.
