Urnex - Descaling Solution Single Bottle

Vinegar will not dissolve the lime scale properly, instead it breaks off in your machine and all the small bits of lime scale will clog the tubing on the inside of the brewer. The descaling solution dissolves the limescale. With proper maintenance your Keurig brewer will run smoothly every morning! Machines that use tap water should be descaled every 3 months, 4-5 months with any filtered spring water. Descaling your brewer every 3 to 6 months will help to preserve its heating element and other internal parts that come into contact with water. There is no lingering order with this product.

Instructions: Descaling should be done every 3 months with tap water, 4-5 months with filtered spring water. Use clean cups regularly to keep the brewer section clean as well as descaler to keep your machine running for a lifetime!

Keurig® Elite & Special Edition/Keurig® 200 or any Small Single Serve machines

1. Pour half the bottle into the water reservoir and fill the remainder with water.
2. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes so the lime scale in the reservoir can dissolve.
3. Start running the mixture through the machine by opening and closing the lid without a single serve coffee pod in the brewer
4. Repeat step 3 until the machine indicates Add Water.
5. Let brewer sit for half an hour with the power on.
6. Afterwards rinse out water reservoir and fill with fresh water.
7. Keep running fresh water through the machine until you have run a total of 10 large cups.
8. Brew a hot beverage and relax.

Keurig® 2.0/Cuisinart/Keurig® Platinum or any other Large Single Serve machines

1. Pour the whole bottle of descaler right into empty water reservoir, and fill to the top with water.
2. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes so the lime scale in the reservoir can dissolve.
3. Start running the mixture through the machine by opening and closing the lid without a single serve coffee pod in the brewer
4. Repeat step 3 until the machine indicates Add Water.
5. Let brewer sit for half an hour with the power on.
6. Afterwards rinse out water reservoir and fill with fresh water.
7. Keep running fresh water through the machine until you have run a total of 10 large cups.
8. Brew a hot beverage and relax.
