Grand Pré UHT 2% milk goes through an ultra high temperature (UHT) sterilization technique where the milk is instantly brought to a very high temperature for 2 to 5 seconds. The brevity of the treatment preserves the qualities of the milk while destroying all the micro-organisms, which makes it possible to preserve it longer. Once cooled, it is poured into a sanitized container without contact with air. Free of added preservatives, Grand Pré UHT milk can still be stored up to 9 months at room temperature and kept 20 days in the refrigerator after opening. The company is certified Aliments du Québec since 2010. Fortified with vitamin D which is known for its role in keeping bones healthy, it will help your body better absorb calcium.
